"I bought a Kenwood head unit for $850 from this store. They offered to instal it and sold me another $650 worth of parth to make it "fit". After the installation th unit never worked correctly. I took the car back and the installer had no idea how th fix it. I got jerked around for a mo th, being promised il get it sorted out and fixed. Nothing has been forthcoming and now the just ignore my request and calls Dodgiest and most incompetent bunch. Don't buy anything technical from them."
"Booked in for an electronic brake controller install, was refused service on the day due to the outside of the 4x4 having some mud on it. This vehicle was parked in clear view of the counter the day before whilst making the booking and nothing was said. I was also under the assumption that the majority of the work was taking place inside the car which was clean. I offered to shoot down the road to the car wash and get it done but they said oh no we won't have time to do it now.. They were unprepared to work 15 mins overtime to allow me to wash the vehicle despite it being their fault for not even informing me. They wouldn't even do it any other day this week and were trying to make me wait over a week longer to do it. No warning was given. No verbal notice or information sheet was given notifying that the vehicle wasn't allowed to have any mud on it. It has created a great inconvenience due to now not being able to get an appointment as all the other auto electricians are booked out. It was also a 3 hour wasted time and fuel round trip to this particular autobarn as they were supposedly going to do it for me on the required day. Very poor form on autobarns behalf."
"The Consumer Law states that an item doesn’t need to be returned in its original packaging, Autobarns return policy surpasses national law. I bought some headlights and returned them in it original box, but didn’t realize you needed the small boxes the lights were individually in. The staff refused to give me a refund. Pretty much just threw away $190. If you go to Supercheap they strictly follow the Consumer Law. Don’t buy from these law breaking people, go to supercheap, where they comply with national law.
