"Fantastic place to get parts for an older car. Anthony was very helpful, not only did he bring the part out to the car for me he even put the part into the boot of my car, without me having to ask for help. Now that's what I call great customer service. Highly recommend Comm Bits."
"Got an engine put in and when I picked the car up I was told not to take it on long trips 1ST RED FLAG Drove it to the nearest shops smoke started pouring out the engine. I checked and the radiator hose wasn't connected. 2nd RED FLAG. Then took it on a 1 half hour drive and engine shut down. I rang him and he said she is fine to drive. Then said it was not anything to do with the motor. Then at that it was 1 day over the warranty and now he can't fix it. And it was over $2000 of work This IS a dodgy place I do not recommend"
"This commodore wreckers business in Salisbury i found by chance possessed 3 only 2nd hand refurbished DTR/coil units to suit VN, VP and VR models throughout Adelaide and nationally on the whole at a 'steal of a price' of only $60! I searched high and low across many auto wreckers/spare parts businesses only to be told "the part for my model was too early for their stock,obsolete, i'd be lucky to find anywhere without buying new at cost of $300-400+"!...Commbits was 'one' of the options i held not much hope in at first, the call unanswered and recording to leave message for callback. Where all other businesses closed at 5pm Commbits remain open until 6pm.After exhausting ALL HOPE and possibilities my phone rang, the return call from a friendly guy at Commbits saved my skin telling me "i have 3 coil units for your model for $60"...I couldnt believe it, told him so and that he's outlet was the only one in the state and others to even have one of these coils available.I cannot recommend higher to ALL auto parts enthusiasts, these guys are a MUST for all commodore owners as 'FIRST PORT OF CALL' for All Commbits!"
